Cutmeister General David Laws got shoved out of office after being caught fraudulently claiming £40,000 in expenses, but there is far more hypocrisy and cruelty involved in the plans of those who plan public finances.

The coalition intends to extend and expand Labour's punitive approach to benefit claimant. It is largely an exercise in blaming the victim, meanwhile tax evaders - who cost the exchequer far, far more - are left relatively unhindered.
